Returns & Withdrawal Rights
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 30 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
Exercising Your Right
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by making a clear statement via our returns portal on christmasornamentsuk.com. You may use the model withdrawal form provided on our website but it is not obligatory.
Return Conditions
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please return items in their original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. All tags should remain attached and items should be free from any damage or stains.
Return Shipping
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or we have made an error. We recommend using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Refund Process
We will process your refund within 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Deductions
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exemptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery
- Perishable goods such as Christmas food items
Faulty Goods
If you receive faulty or damaged goods, please contact us immediately. We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty items and offer a full refund or replacement.
Seasonal Items
For Christmas-specific items purchased well in advance of the holiday season, we extend our returns period until January 31st, allowing you to return items after Christmas.
Return Address
Please send returns to the address provided when you complete our online returns process. Do not send returns to our business address directly.
International Returns
Customers returning items from outside the UK are responsible for any customs charges incurred during the return process. These cannot be refunded.
Exchange Policy
If you wish to exchange an item, please process a return and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you receive your preferred item promptly.
